You want it to be easier and more secure Just when you thought you would no longer see the version of Internet Explorer in the next ice age, Microsoft reached the world with the release of a brand new browser.
It’s been in production for so long that many network users are tired of waiting for Microsoft to update their technology and watch Firefox from elsewhere.
Now the big and evil sailor king is not eager to see the battle of his crown, but can it be enough to get the crew back?
First, a smoother new interface is definitely a step forward.
Basically, Microsoft removes the menu bar and hides all the tools and features in small icons, nicely in the top right corner of the interface.
This allows you to view pages in a very large viewing area. IE also eventually decided to support tabbed browsing. These include a new tab button for instant opening, and a smart tab button that opens a thumbnail preview of all the tabs on the screen, and unlike Firefox, IE 7 actually has a close button on each tab.
You can even save a group of tabs as your home page until everything starts. We also appreciate the publication preview tool, which customizes the pages according to your paper 7, has improved the way RSS integration is integrated. Whenever you find a website that supports RSS support, the toolbar icon turns orange.
Click on it and you will be redirected to a page that shows all the feeds on your site. Click the link to subscribe to this feed and add it to your favorites.
You can also order by clicking the small letter icon on the left. Unlike Firefox, not all items have drop-down menus in the stream.
Clicking the capital letter icon opens the Favorites Center, which is divided into Favorites, Feeds, and History.
Security is usually one of the weaknesses of IE.
In addition to the pop-up blocker, version 7 also offers phishing filters. To experiment, we launched a well-known phishing network published in phishtank. Disappointingly, most of the filter failed. Phishing protection may not be the strength of IE 7, but at least the browser includes the SSL 2 security protocol.
0 and 3.0 and TLS 1.0, same as Firefox.
IE is still not perfect for all updates. Like Firefox, IE can’t run the Acid2 test, and doesn’t even support the latest standards.
Note that IE is delayed and dragged every time you open a new tab, the Tools section, and apply new settings. You can add a large number of search bar providers and add-ons from Microsoft websites, but this number is still much lower than with the Mozilla Firefox plug-in.
Also, IE 7 is actually limited to those with XP SP2, and for some reason you need to turn off this antivirus and restart your computer in order to install it properly (function () {(‘review-app-page-desktop’);} );
